| This jewelry box is made from Honduras mahogany. It is finished with Watco Danish oil, worked in with 180, 220, 320 and 600 wet and dry sandpaper. The surfaces inside and out are smooth as a baby's bottom! I attached blue felt to the inside bottom. I took my girlfriend's signature, had it enlarged and burned it into the top with two passes from a laser at a local trophy shop. I made a sliding tray that has adjustable an adjustable grid to accommodate varies sizes of jewelry. The box measures roughly 11 x 17 x 5.25 inches high.
